The Show Committee has finalised the 2024 Schedule which can be downloaded from this link. Hard copies will be available from the Village Shop or from committee members later in the spring. More information about the show can be found on the 2024 Show page including a summary of new or amended classes for 2024.

The 2024 Old Basing and Lychpit Carnival - 15th June.

The Committee will have a stall at the carnival that will include a plant sale and tombola. Paper copies of the Schedule will also be available on the Stall. Please come along and see us to buy plants, have a go on the tombola and/or ask any questions that you might have about the Show.

2023 AGM

The 2023 AGM was held on Tuesday, 14th November in the Pavilion Tea Room, Recreation Ground. A summary of the meeting can be found on the AGM page

The 2023 Show was held on Sunday 3rd September 2023.

Another successful Show. Thanks to everyone who entered or visited the Show. Numbers were up this year which was great to see. Thanks also to all of the non-committee members who helped out on the day and/or helped in setting up the Show. More information about the 2023 Show can be found on the news page. And last but not least, thanks to all of the origanisations that sponsored the Show by advertising in the 2023 schedule or by donating prizes for the raffle. A list of those organisations can be found here.

2023 Carnival

Thanks to everyone who visited our stand at this year's carnival and to those who donated items for the plant sale. Also, thanks to Chris Beadle for building the "greenhouse in a wheelbarrow" that was part of the carnival procession.

General information.

The Village Show normally held on the first Sunday after 2nd September in Old Basing Village Hall and is open to the public from 2:30 pm. The Show gives local residents and others associated with the parish the opportunity to display their talents in a wide range of categories including horticultural, domestic, handicraft, floral display, wine and beer and of course the Children's Section.

What better way to spend a pleasant Sunday afternoon?
