As mentioned above, we will have a plant stall at the festival on 17th May. Please come along to buy plants and ask any questions you have about the Show. If you have any plants that you can donate to the stall they will be very welcome. Please bring them along on the day or contact any Committee Member who can arrange for them to be collected from you

Show day, Sunday 8th September 2024.

Thanks to everyone who entered or visited the Show, it was another successful year. Exhibitor and visitor numbers were up which was great to see; we received the largest number of entries for several years. Again, the judges comments in all sections were very positive and the quality of the exhibits presented them with some difficulties in choosing 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Photos of the exhibits can be found by clicking here and "best in section" winning exhibits can be found here

At the end of the Show, Gemma Lillywhite, Headteacher of St Mary’s Junior School, presented the trophies and awards, then Graham Merry presented the Basinga prizes for the photographic section. This was followed by the raffle draw and auction. A more detailed report of the Show can be found on the news page

The Committee's thanks go out to all of the non-committee members who helped out on the day and/or helped in setting up the Show. This help is essential to ensure the smooth running of the Show. The Committee also thanks those who donated items for the refreshments and produce stalls and also items for the auction. And last but not least, thanks to all of the organisations that sponsored the Show by advertising in the 2024 schedule and/or by donating prizes for the raffle. A list of those organisations can be found here.
