2023 Annual General Meeting

The 2023 AGM was held on Tuesday, 14th November in the Pavilion Tea Room, Recreation Ground.

Our Chairman, Linda Frawley, welcomed everyone to the meeting. She gave a report on the year's activities and her report (in PDF format) can be downloaded by clicking here.

Linda has served her three year term so stands down from the post and takes the post of Vice Chairman. Chris Beadle has agreed to be Chairman for one year having previously served as Vice Chairman. Sue Tompkins has decided to stand down as Show Secretary and has agreed to continue to server as a committee member. Steve Layland takes over as Show secretary. All other committee members and officers have agreed to continue in their existing roles.

This year, the Royal Horticultural Society has given a "Recognition Certificate" to be presented by the committee. The committee agreed that this should be presented to Pat Brace for his support of the Show over the years by helping out on the day and by providing plants and produce for the sales and auction. The certificate was presented to Pat at the end of the meeting. The meeting was closed and attendees invited to stay on for "drinks and nibbles".

2022 Annual General Meeting

The 2022 AGM was held on Tuesday, 8th November in the Pavilion Tea Room, Recreation Ground.

Mark Offord has decided to stand down from the committee and Linda thanked him for his work as treasurer and as a committee member. Richard Whatley volunteered to join the committee and was nominated and accepted as a member. All other committee members and officers have agreed to continue to serve for the next year. 2021 Annual General Meeting

The 2021 AGM was held on Tuesday, 9th November in the Pavilion Tea Room, Recreation Ground.

Our Chairman, Linda Frawley, welcomed everyone to the meeting. She gave a report on the year's activities that mainly focused around the 2021 Show and also other activities including the decoration of a Christmas Tree for the 2020 St Mary's Christmas Tree festival and also the plant sale that was held in June at the Lychpit Village hall at the invitiation of the WI.

Mark Offord has decided to stand down as Treasurer and has agreed to continue to server as a committee member. Mike Wright takes over as Treasurer and all other committee members have agreed to continue to serve. Chris Beadle, on behalf of the Committee, thanked Mark for his many successful years as Treasurer.

2020 Annual General Meeting

The committee reviewed the COVID-19 situation and decided that the 2020 AGM should be a virtual on-line meeting which was held on 10th November 2020 .

Our Chairman, Judith Dixon-Patterson, welcomed everyone to the meeting. She gave a report on the year's activities that mainly focused around the 2020 Virual Show which was well subscribed.

Judith has served her three year term so stands down from the post. Linda Frawley becomes Chairman having previously served as Vice Chairman. Chris Beadle becomes Vice Chairman. Steve Layland has decided to stand down as Show Secretary and has agreed to continue to server as a committee member. Sue Tompkins takes over as Show Secretary and Judith Dixon-Patterson as Honorary Secretary. Mark Offord continues to serve as Treasurer and all other committee members have agreed to continue to serve.

2019 Annual General Meeting

12th November 2019 The Show AGM was held at St. Mary's Church.

Our Chairman, Judith Dixon-Patterson, welcomed everyone to the meeting. She gave a report on the Show which was another success in terms of entries, the quality of entries and entrant and visitor numbers. She went on to thank the Committee for their hard work, the non-committee members who helped on the day, all those who donated prizes and items for the raffle and produce stall and those who donated plants to the sale at the 2019 Carnival stall.
